How does IFS therapy help?
-
For anxiety, IFS can help you understand how and why your symptoms are arising, and address core wounds that may be increasing your anxiety.
-
For trauma, IFS can help you release core beliefs that a traumatic event might have led you to believe, allowing your body to feel safe in the present again.
-
For relationships, IFS helps you strengthen emotional awareness, increase your ability to communicate your emotional needs, and increase your tolerance to vulnerability.
-
Other benefits include an increase in self-trust, self-compassion, and mind-body connection.
