20 minutes, no pressure. We talk about what's bringing you in and whether a therapy intensive is right for you.

History & groundwork

One initial session for history taking, goal setting, and reviewing the client workbook.

Reflection

You complete an EMDR workbook that asks you to reflect on your upbringing, beliefs, and coping strategies. Your answers help us focus in on the most important areas for healing.

The Intensive

The core work begins. We schedule your preferred number of extended 90-120 min sessions over the span of a couple of weeks.

Integration

We check what's shifted, reinforce it, and decide together what still needs attention or where we can close out.

Real talk: it's not for everyone.

Who is a good fit for an intensive?

Therapy intensives are a good fit for women who:

  • Have a few mornings or afternoons to dedicate time to healing and reflecting.

  • Are motivated to examine how past experiences are currently affecting them.

  • Have tried talk therapy in the past and want a more focused approach.

Therapy intensives are not a good fit for women who:

  • Want ongoing weekly support for their mental health

  • Don't have a flexible schedule or the time to dedicate to extended sessions

  • Don't feel ready to address past events
